Maya Porrino is a Westport, CT based film photographer interested in finding both connection and escape through the lens of her various cameras.
Often described as zen-like, the imagery Maya creates is dreamy, feminine, and mysterious. Themes of experimentation, impermanence, and a reverent connection to nature recur throughout her personal work.
Maya is an intuitive photographer and multimedia artist who is interested in all things mystical. This includes philosophy, consciousness, dreams, synchronicities, spirituality, herbalism, and astrology.
In addition to her personal artistic practice, Maya also photographs families, newborns, couples, business owners, editorial projects, events, and weddings.
